Gaelin Elmore is a nationally recognized speaker, advocate, and former collegiate and professional football player whose powerful story of resilience and purpose inspires audiences across the country. Having experienced homelessness and the foster care system as a child, Gaelin brings a deeply personal perspective to issues of trauma, healing, and hope. His journey—from instability to the NFL—underscores the transformative power of connection, advocacy, and community support.

Today, Gaelin uses his platform to champion youth empowerment and mental wellness, drawing on his experiences with the Minnesota Gophers and the NFL to connect with diverse audiences. As keynote speaker for Cheers for Children, Gaelin will share his story and challenge attendees to “Be Someone” in the lives of children who have experienced trauma. His message is a call to action—one that aligns powerfully with CornerHouse’s mission to provide healing, justice, and support for vulnerable children and families.

We’re also thrilled to welcome back Kevin Doran of KSTP Channel 5 as our emcee. Kevin’s warmth, professionalism, and longstanding commitment to child advocacy make him an integral part of the evening’s success.
