Registration

To register, individuals should contact CornerHouse Training Assistant, Sandy Heitkamp, at 612.813.8310 or for availability.

For trainings held at CornerHouse, individuals can request a tentative registration via phone or email. To be registered for a training course, a completed registration form must be returned with payment or purchase order within ten (10) working days. If this does not occur, the tentative registration will be cancelled. CornerHouse will mail a confirmation letter to each participant or contact person within two (2) weeks of receipt of registration and payment. Registration can occur at any time prior to the first day of training, on a space-available basis.

For trainings held at your site, an agency representative who wishes to host a CornerHouse training at his/her site can request available training dates from the CornerHouse Training Assistant. Upon agreement, CornerHouse will generate a purchase of service agreement for the training session. This agreement must be signed by an authorized agency representative and returned within sixty (60) days, unless otherwise specified, with payment or purchase order. In the event that the training is scheduled in less than sixty (60) days, the signed purchase of service agreement and payment or purchase order are due immediately upon receipt.

Payment

CornerHouse accepts checks or credit card as payment for training services. All training must be prepaid or secured with a purchase order for payment immediately following delivery of service.

Attendance

A certificate of achievement will be awarded to those participants who attend the training in its entirety and pass a final exam (if given). Participants with questions about this policy should contact Miriam Maples, CornerHouse Training Director, at 612.813.8325.

Cancellation and Refund

To cancel an individual registration, participants must notify CornerHouse verbally and in writing one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the training date. When this cancellation notification requirement is met, the entire training fee, less a $25.00 administrative fee, will be refunded. If CornerHouse is notified less than one hundred twenty (120) days but more than sixty (60) days prior to the training, 50% of the training fee will be refunded. If CornerHouse is notified within sixty (60) days of the training, no refund will be given. CornerHouse reserves the right to cancel a training when the minimum number of participants has not registered. CornerHouse will notify participants verbally thirty (30) days prior to the training date in the case of a cancellation and refund any training fees in full.
